Supply Chain Planner (for Philippines Nationals Only)

Location: Philippines

The Supply Chain Planner contributes to establishing order fulfillment guidelines, carries our order fulfillment activities and ensures that customers’ needs are understood, met, delivered and well communicated; is responsible for supply chain planning and facilitating the collaborative demand planning (CDP) process for the delegation, while ensuring compliance with ICRC Logistics procedures. He/she will provide technical support in the areas of order management, warehousing and stock management to other Logistics staff in the delegation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the following Logistics operations – order management, warehousing and stock management.
  • Ensure all requests are fulfilled within a reasonable time frame and in compliance with ICRC procedures and all government regulations.
  • Facilitate the collaborative demand planning (CDP) process for the delegation and work with the relevant units to ensure forecasts are available in a timely manner.
  • Provides guidance to stakeholders regarding order management, warehousing and stock management policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all Logistics transactions in JDE/IRIS are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • May supervise 1 or 2 Logistics staff in Manila site.

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • University degree in logistics, supply management, operations management, or relevant discipline
  • At least 6 years professional experience in Supply Chain/Demand or Supply Planning. People management experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in humanitarian work is a plus
  • Proficiency in the use of JDE or equivalent ERP software
  • Confirmed capacity to ensure compliance to policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work under high-stress and in conflict areas
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel)
