The position is GREAT opportunity for a professional interested in gaining tax experience in an international company and in being part of EXCITING projects conducted in close collaboration local finance people in different EMEA locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract reports, analyze the data, prepare VAT, EC Sales/Purchase Listings, control statements and Intrastat returns
• Review the data and perform standardized checks and ad-random checks to find potential issue
• Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for VAT, maintain the central archive of all VAT related compliance data
• Sustain an excellent relationship with finance, accounting teams, tax advisors and other relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective partnership
• Support ad-hoc projects, VAT advisory team, VAT manager if needed, training and internal advice to the business

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Tax, Accounting, Law or similar
• Tax work experience (local or EU legislation), VAT/tax internships or tax-related projects at the university is PLUS bot not mandatory
• Fluent English, second foreign language (German, Spanish, Italian) is a big advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, pro-activeness, ability to introduce own ideas
• Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with other team members and partner
