ERP Training Lead

Entegro is currently engaged in a project to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management system across all business functions in all Entegro locations. This project will retire a number of existing systems, bringing them in to a cloud based Financial Force environment. An integral component of this effort is ensuring users have the knowledge and training needed to utilize our business systems effectively.

As ERP Training lead, you will be a core member of the team that is building and deploying our ERP platform, you will provide support on the training strategy design, technical writing for role-based training programs, will be responsible for cataloguing all materials, tracking progress of changes/updates, liaison with the ERP implementation team to ensure that training requirements are sized, planned for, co-ordinated into a schedule and reported against, and documentation is published and available for training when required.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and execution of training strategy, plan, and deliverables for FF ERP system, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Design face-to-face training, self-directed learning, and train-the-trainer guidance for all ERP-related needs
  • Help create and manage training activity work plans that include assignment of responsibilities, estimated level of effort for team members, dependencies, and deadlines
  • Identify and create required content based on standard business processes and maintain the content as business processes and application functionality changes
  • Review of training materials and documentation by Subject Matter Experts to ensure content accuracy and consistency
  • Create and deliver training content with a high level of cultural competency for non-native English-speaking audiences
  • Contribute to the expansion of ERP’s knowledge management system within the IT support ticketing system to incorporate training-related Q&A
  • Utilize multiple platforms to deliver content in the most appropriate method based on the user’s learning style
  • Select and contract with inside/outside training consultants for development and delivery of training as required
  • Administer user enrolment and track completion of training plan
  • Develop and administer assessments, track results, utilize feedback to improve content and delivery methods
  • Build rapport with staff to help increase system adoption and encourage feedback of potential improvements
  • Stay abreast of advancements in the training field on the FF platform and training academy, to be able to implement advancements in the business change initiatives
  • Act as a change champion and advocate for the ERP implementation program and the specific change initiative
  • Identify change management and project issues as they arise; prepare recommendations to address the issue in a timely manner and implement as appropriate
  • Providing analytics on learning delivered on the programme to a range of stakeholders
  • Work independently (and with subject matter experts) to understand Entegro business processes and functional roles, as they relate to ERP system
  • Ensure communication for required training and education is identified within the communication strategy and plan
  • Any other training and change management activities as they arise

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business or related fields
  • 2-3 years of Candidate must have experience with both Training (content creation & delivery) and Change management (Change impact assessment, Change governance, Business change strategy)
  • 2-3 years of experience with ERP Transformation programmes training and change requirements
  • Strong writing and training materials development skills
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and cloud platforms
  • Ability to communicate and build effective working relationships across a diverse groups of people and departments
  • Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts in layman’s terms, including appropriate corporate jargon where applicable
  • Ability to lead change in a cross functional organization
  • Experience of developing and delivering instructor led, e-learning training and self-study content for different stakeholder groups covering business process and technical change
  • Ability to understand ERP applications and business processes and apply that knowledge to developing and delivering excellent content
  • Experience working with a global workforce preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required
  • Strong work ethic and a make-it-happen attitude
