The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through its Regional Office in the Caribbean is responsible for complying with the principles of competitiveness and equity for their collaborators. This mean it is in charge for maintaining adequate positions and salaries for its personnel through valuations and analysis of positions and salary reviews with respect to the Market in St. Lucia.

In order to accomplish this objective, a consultancy will be hired.

Tasks to be performed by the contractor:

Specifically, the contractor (consultant) is responsible for providing the following services:

• Valuation of the current positions of the national staff from St. Lucia, Indicating if the tasks and responsibilities correspond to the salary and benefits received and if they are related to the market.
• Develop a salary line to know salaries position in the market. The idea of this is to know in a tangible way if these rose quickly or on the contrary, their increase is almost imperceptible. In the same way, if there is a disproportion in the salaries paid to a position or area.
• Analyse and compare salaries with other institutions to determine the institution’s positioning and provide recommendations for improvement (adjustments, profit creation, etc.)
• According to the results obtained, presentation of recommendations and suggestions for the profiles of the positions surveyed.

Qualifications:

• Education/training (2.1.1): University qualification (Diploma/Master) in Laws or Human Resources related.
• Language (2.1.2): Good business language skills in English.
• General professional experience (2.1.3): 10 years of professional experience.
• Specific professional experience (2.1.4): 06-10 years of professional experience in the St. Lucia’s Private Labour Legal Sector.
• Leadership/management experience (2.1.5): 4 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager in a company.
