Identity and Access Management Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Identity and Access Management Architect skilled in translating complex technical concepts into simple explanations, managing between the technology and wider business environment, and expertise in clarifying specific user AD attributes while mapping them across different applications. The successful candidate will facilitate the transition from our clients on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support EntraID and Identity and Access Management platforms, both on-premise and on Azure
• Develop IAM strategies in line with technologies such as SAML, OAUTH, and MFA
• Expertly construct and manage permission matrices, business profiles, and take charge of clarifying specific user Active Directory (AD) attributes and mapping them across different applications, meeting business requirements and strategies
• Plan and effectuate IAM architectures for all systems, including 40+ business applications and several SaaS applications
• Ensure consistency and integration of IAM technologies across various systems including on-premises Citrix and Azure Cloud
• Oversee a seamless migration from on-premise to Azure Cloud without compromising security and performance
• Collaborate with other teams to establish and implement effective automated IAM processes (onboarding-offboarding processes)
• Provide incident management related to IAM technologies and manage changes in IAM environments
• Effectively use presentation skills to explain complex technologies in simplified language to non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on IAM architecture
• Expert hands-on experience with EntraID on a platform predominantly based on Microsoft or similar products
• Extensive understanding of authentication protocols, including SAML and OAUTH
• Proven experience with on-premises Citrix and Azure Cloud platform
• Mastery in operating in a wide range of platforms including 40+ business applications, several SaaS applications and expertise in developing matrix permissions and business profiles
• Profound knowledge in user Active Directory attributes, including extraction and mapping across different applications
• Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud IAM stack
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling abilities, capable of demystifying complex concepts for a non-technical audience

Nice to have

• Certification in Microsoft Azure or a similar field would be advantageous
• Experience with large scale cloud migrations
• Proven project management and time management skills
• Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including ISO 27001, FINMA, GDPR, and SOC2
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French
