Head of Business Line, Crushing and Screening

We are looking for a business leader with “can-do” attitude, to be part of our company management team as Head of Business Line, Crushing and Screening.

You will develop, lead and implement strategies and actions for mining and aggregate market areas globally to ensure profitable growth for the Business Line. You will report to the CEO.

You and your team will work in close co-operation with Sales and Supply Chain teams to meet customers’ expectations through crusher application support and active product portfolio development together with optimized supply chain network. As you will have the overall financial responsibility (P/L) of Crushing and Screening business, your role as a member of Element Mining and Construction management team and in reaching the profitable growth targets, is crucial.

Responsibilities

Business Management

• Crushing and Screening Business Line strategy creation and execution
• P&L ownership
• Global pricing
• Business Line commercial excellence guidelines for internal teams and distributors
• Global business opportunity management
• Sales concept management & development together with sales teams
• Business Line inventory level co-ordination and creation together with sales and operations teams
• Business Line financial forecasts and market share analytics

Supply Chain Management

• Ownership and responsibility of Business Line supply chain strategy and management for all products (crusher wear and spare parts)
• Actively travel globally to subcontracted manufacturers to negotiate and ensure best terms, product quality and new product development together with manufacturers
• Business Line procurement analytics, planning and spend responsibility

Technical Sales Support

• Actively travel for technical, product and application support with internal sales teams and distributors globally

Technical Development

• Crusher wear and spare parts product management
• Product and commercial offering development
• Technical training for internal colleagues and external business partners
• Work with and participate in development of IT informational environment of the company (PDM, CRM, etc.)

Team Leadership and Development

• Develop a high performing results-driven culture
• Hire and train Business Line personnel together with HR
• Lead by own example to inspire and motivate team and colleagues

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or technical leadership positions with profit and loss responsibility
• 5+ years of experience in working with rock crushers business environment (technical support, product support, sales support, sales or design)
• Change management and leadership skills in a matrix, multi-cultural, international environment
• Motivation and ability to achieve results under pressure with strong sense of responsibility and independence
• Ability to quickly build relationships and achieve results both individually and as part of a team
• Written and oral communication skills in English along with presentation, negotiation and analytical skills
• ?apability to meet changing business conditions
• Commercial/Market facing experience, interacting with distributors and/or customers
• Time management, prioritization, and project management abilities
• Financial acumen with an ability to interpret and leverage data analysis to drive targeted outcomes.
• Willingness to actively travel worldwide
• Cross-cultural awareness
