We are looking for a Financial Planning and Treasury Assistant on a short-term temporary basis with the ability to think logically and analytically to help us achieve these ambitions. Perhaps you are looking for a change and want to embark on a new career path, or already have financial planning or treasury experience. Either way, you’ll have an inquisitive mind and an interest in how we put social housing money to work and manage it all.
What’s the role?
This is a key role within the Treasury function, supporting the delivery of our strategic objectives and enhancing our work with new and existing partners, being an active developer of homes, and maintaining our strong financial position.
The right candidate will need to think logically, apply their analytical skills and have a structured approach to challenges. You’ll work effectively and proactively with both internal and external stakeholders.
In This Role You Will Need To
- be highly numerate.
- have a keen eye for detail.
- prioritise deliverables.
What are we looking for?
You’ll have an excellent understanding of financial information with a background in finance. Knowledge of the housing sector would be an advantage.
Essential
- At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in finance
- Qualifications in finance or treasury or be working towards this.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- You will need to hold a UK valid passport or right to work in the UK
- You will need to maintain a satisfactory basic-level DBS check.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the housing sector
- Knowledge of Housing Brixx tool
