Junior Product Controller/Accountant

Description

Department/Job Overview:

Zurich Product Control Analytics covering business areas Swiss Bank Corporate Lending, Banknotes, Precious Metals Physical and the MIS month end process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run the month end closing process for business area Swiss Bank Corporate Lending and support the Zurich PC MIS month end process.
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely P&L, Balance Sheet and analysis. 
• Provide reliable and meaningful financial information to the business managers, business partners and other relevant internal constituents. 
• Play an active role in various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• A university degree or an equivalent educational background, preferably with a major in finance and / or accounting 
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability of critical thinking
• Strong sense of ownership, able to work independently and take initiative.
• Fluent English skills

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years’ experience in Product Control, Financial Controlling, Accounting or similar within a bank or financial institution is preferable but not essential.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking and time management skills enables you to quickly gain trust and build up solid working relationships.
