Head of Finance (80-100%)

You and your team will be responsible for leading and overseeing all financial operations, collaborate closely with the executive team to make informed business decisions and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability while driving profitability. You will be the owner of Data Protection & Compliance. Finally, you ensure all administration processes run smoothly.

Tasks

• Lead the Finance & Accounting team (six people) and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Guarantee a correct annual and monthly closing based on Swiss OR
• Further Development of Controlling and Cost Accounting with focus on product profitability
• Optimizing the invoicing processes for our products and services
• Ensuring stable payroll processes
• Responsible for Budgeting, Forecasting, Cash planning and company taxes
• Provide timely insights into financial trends and forecasts as a catalyst to proactive business management
• Be an active part of Lufthansa System’s global finance community
• Act as GDPR and Compliance contact for Lufthansa Group-internal and external matters
• Run Company Administration including Facility Management

Requirements

• Degree in business administration or equivalent with focus on Finance and Accounting
• Proven experience in a finance leadership role within a complex organization
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
• Good knowledge of SAP R/3
• Strong interpersonal skills, hands-on mentality, service orientation, and assertiveness
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• High integrity and ethical conduct with a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of governance and financial integrity.
• Swiss or EU national or a holder of a Swiss working permit
