Day to Day
As a Specialist Account Executive within the Platform team, your focus will be on the custom enterprise business application development and improved Security Products and Application Lifecycle Management products. The Platform Account Executive will formulate and complete a Platform sales strategy within their specific market segment, drive revenue growth by driving demand in the current customer base, and develop new customers. You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting. You will work in partnership with the existing Account owners and will carry quota for the Platform product sales.
As a trusted adviser and mentor, you are the person with the expertise in Business and Technology Architecture that can match customer needs to the capabilities of the Salesforce Platform including: Developer Services, Trusted Services, Platform Fundamentals.
You will articulate the business value of the solutions through executive-level time-to-value, ROI and TCO presentations.
- Develop key customer collaborator relationships and drive customer happiness at assigned accounts
- Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
- Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs
- Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
- Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
- Drive growth within an existing assigned account

- You will collaborate with customers on the Salesforce Platform to evangelize solutions that will help them reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their organizations.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or a technology related field
- shown experience within a Global On-demand environment with a focus on security and compliance
- 5+ years of customer facing presentations to ‘C’ level executives as well as technical guides
- Ability to strategize with a large extended team
- Knowledge of various compliance audits and security certifications (SOC2, ISO 27001 etc.) highly desired
- Willingness and ability to travel
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of current risks, security frameworks, and trends
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Objection Handling Skills, Discovery Skills, Planning and Closing Skills
- Good written, verbal, and presentation skills in German or French and English
- Be creative with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Background working with a CRM system
- Ability to work well as part of an extended sales team
