Typical day as an IT Auditor
- You’ll help deliver a value-added assurance service to Home Group and its subsidiaries.
- You’ll take the lead on IT audit planning and fieldwork including discussions with colleagues across the organisation to provide challenge and successfully influence the implementation of revised/new processes and procedures.
- You will get involved with consultancy and advisory services, and carryout ad hoc investigations.
You bring
- Qualified Internal Auditor, IT Auditor or equivalent with excellent business acumen, gained through relevant audit experience.
- Achieved a degree in IT, computer science, or similar, or equivalent experience.
- Confident in audit planning, carrying out audit fieldwork and testing, identifying controls, risks, and weaknesses.
- A strong report writer with abilities to deliver to a varied and demanding audience.
- A great communicator with communication skills at all levels.
- A keen eye for detail with brilliant listening skills.
- Be a key team player.

Our team
You’ll join Helen our Head of Audit and our Assurance Services team, we’re super passionate about what we do! You’ll be part of a friendly and dedicated team of audit professionals and will soon discover that they support each other as much as they support the organisation in delivering its strategic goals. Together as a team they have a wealth of experience which will enable them to support you as you settle into your new role.
Job details
- This is a full-time role, but we’re also open to considering part time and flexible working options.
- You’ll manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, we’re ok with that.
- This is a hybrid role, and you’ll spend a minimum of two days in the office, and the remaining days working at home.
