We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and who is able to juggle different deadlines and projects.

What we’re all about

You might think of Yorkshire Housing as ‘just’ a housing provider. Oh no…we own and manage nearly 20,000 homes (and counting) across Yorkshire and our mission is to make it possible for current and future tenants to have a place they’re proud to call home, we call it being customer obsessed.

You’ll be joining Yorkshire Housing’s very own Sales brand ‘Space Homes’. Trust us, they’re a creative, driven and commercially focused bunch. Through the sale of new builds and existing homes for Market Sale or Shared Ownership, they maximise YH profits which are reinvested into the business and our communities.

For a lot of our customers, you’ll be their impression of Yorkshire Housing and Space Homes. You need to be confident taking phone calls and enthusiastic about sales! You’ll really be making a real difference in our customers’ lives… are you interested yet?

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support and assist with administration requirements within the Space Homes Sales team; including the provision of information, data monitoring and reporting.

Organisation is key, so you’ll be creating electronic files and folders, coordinating stock property management, pre-completion cleans and snagging repairs – which all contribute to meeting our sales targets of course.

We get lots of queries and requests for advice following sales completion, so you’ll be putting your excellent customer service skills to use and ensuring a positive experience and in turn upholding our external reputation.

Sounds good hey! So, what do we need from you?

  • This role would suit someone with existing experience in property sales.
  • You’ll need a proven ability to follow agreed procedures and accurately record data.
  • You’ll be able to adapt and be flexible to a changing and varied workload, whilst maintaining high standards.
  • You’ll thrive when working to sales targets, whilst complying with all our internal policies, procedures and service development initiatives.
  • You’ll keep your work highly organised and accurate and have an excellent eye for detail and time management skills. You’ll be able to juggle multiple priorities at once.
  • A confident communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You’ll need comprehensive IT experience (especially in MS products)

The Sales team meet in Leeds, West Yorkshire around once a week so being able to travel to see them in person is also worth noting!

What’s in it for you?

In return, we offer £23,316.63 per annum for a 35 hour week, 25 days annual leave (rising annually to 30 days) plus Bank Holidays.

We also work (truly) flexibly, and believe work is something that you do, not somewhere you go. We give our colleagues the flexibility to contribute their best work, as long as it fits the needs of the role.

But that’s not all. We offer a reward package to suit everyone. At YH, you can claim back for prescriptions, eye tests and more with our cash plan, make the most of a variety of retail discounts and take advantage of our pension scheme where we’ll match your contributions up to 9%, just to name a few.
