Middle Full-stack Java Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Middle Full-stack Java Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of backend development experience (using Java)
  • 1+ years of backend development experience (using Node.JS)
  • 1+ years of experience with Web frontend development (preferably Angular based)
  • Understanding of serverless computing (AWS or Azure)
  • AWS development experience
  • Good experience with SQL and/or NoSql databases
  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices

Would be a plus:

  • Understanding of Java backend development toolset
  • Good knowledge of non-relational DBs (DynamoDB)
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)

Responsibilities:

  • Work on improvements to existing cloud based system in order to facilitate portfolio level changes
  • Perform root cause analysis of identified issues, define the plan for their fixing and the means to prevent such issues in future
  • Identify areas for improvements inside existing system
  • Perform peer code reviews
