How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne…
The key objective of the Senior Parks Operations Officer – Open Space and Trees is to work closely with the appointed Service Provider/s to manage the open space assets or tree assets in the City to the agreed standards and to provide excellent customer service to park users and stakeholders
What You Will Bring… (Selection Criteria)
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as horticulture, arboriculture, natural resource management or contracts, together with:
- Extensive experience and understanding of parks management and or tree management.
- Experience in managing contracts and monitoring of contract performance
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving abilities
- Well-developed project management skills
