About Our Client
Our client is a well-known industry leader in flow equipment, headquartered in Winterthur, Switzerland. Wherever fluids are treated, pumped or mixed, our client delivers highly innovative and reliable solutions for the most demanding applications. In order to strengthen their global planning & scheduling team, we`re urgently looking for an experienced Project Manager for global projects.
Responsibilities
- Harmonize and standardize Project Management processes across all of the Energy PM hubs
- Implement critical path & float methodology
- Define standard templates & WBS (work breakdown structure) for Tender and Project Schedules
- Assist in the creation of Tender Schedules (pre-award) and Project Schedules (post-award) for critical/complex tenders/projects and ensure their regular updating
- Support project teams in foreseeing planning and schedule analysis in the context of claim management
- Guide project teams with schedule improvement and mitigating actions during monthly project reviews
- Work closely with global factory planning to incorporate manufacturing schedules
- Drive on-time delivery through better schedule management, risk identification, and best practice sharing across the Energy business unit
Profile
- Engineering degree
- Relevant experience as a Project Manager/Project Scheduler (either in OEM, EPC, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Sector, or else)
- Experience in driving global improvement & transformation initiatives
- Ability to work in a matrix with no direct reports
- Ability to design, review and manage complex systems and processes
- An ability to assimilate information and communicate with stakeholders
- Proactive nature with a desire to continuously improve processes and problem solve
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project (or Primavera) & SAP
- Hands-on approach
- Fluency in English is required, German would be an added value
