Manager Post Market Engineering
You will be a part of the Product Support Engineering (PSE) Imaging team that is responsible for third-level support and handling of Escalated Complaints for imaging components on Varian’s linear accelerators as well for Varian’s Surface Guidance solution.
The PSE Imaging team are highly skilled engineers performing root cause analysis, supporting the Field Service representatives, authoring service documentation, and providing feedback to the R&D organization.
As a Manager Post Market Engineering, you’ll be supporting your team to make sure the Escalated Complaints are being processed in time and in the expected quality.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide organizational leadership to the team, including hiring, development, evaluation, and coaching for staff.
- Collaborates with other teams/individuals at project, process, and personnel levels to ensure deliverables are met and to identify/enact improvement opportunities.
- Identify and support personal and team development opportunities.
- Make sure that company quality goals related to Escalated Complaints Investigations are met
- Provide complaint investigation statistics to management and quality review boards
- Contribute to issue review boards as needed
Desired Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or equivalent
- Demonstrable, solid experience gained in team management or strong leadership experience.
- Organized and goal-oriented with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Team player, with high social and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
- Equipped with an international mind set.
