Workday Specialist

Aman

The Workday Specialist will play a critical role in the global deployment of Workday as Aman’s new HRIS; encompassing Phase 1, Phase 2, and future Phase X projects. We are seeking a candidate with a robust background in Workday implementations, ideally experienced with Workday Launch setups and a Big Bang approach across multiple locations.

 

  • Collaborate with the HR Systems Manager, the Aman Workday project team and the hotel-based HR teams across the globe, serving as the trusted liaison with the implementation partner for the design, build, configuration, testing, and other deliverables for the deployment of Workday.
  • Ensure that the deployment of all Workday projects align with Aman Group’s strategic objectives and business needs.
  • Analyse and optimize business processes for effective integration of Workday solutions, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Assist in the development of the training programs for end-users, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
  • Provide continuous support for Workday users, resolving any operational challenges.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical teams, department leaders, and end-users regarding Workday deployments and updates.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Workday.
  • Lead the adaptation and testing of biannual Workday releases.

 

  • Proven experience in deploying and managing Workday HCM functions, preferable in the hospitality industry
  • Certification in Workday HCM is required; additional module certifications are a plus
  • Strong understanding of Workday architecture, security model, and business processes framework
  • In-depth knowledge of HR and financial processes as related to Workday modules
  • Preferred background in hospitality or related industries
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex issues independently
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Right to work in Switzerland
