Our Client:

Our client, one of the UAE’s leading events and exhibition centers are looking for an Assistant Manager of Marketing to join their marketing team in Dubai.

This person will responsible for supporting Marketing planning, content development and tactical deployment across ATL and BTL channels in line with the mandated objectives, timeline and budget allocated.

Your Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy, Planning and Research:

  • Work closely with our clients BUs & the Line Manager to develop a sound understanding of internal Business needs (sales targets, markets, audiences) and assist in the implementation of an integrated Marketing Communications plan to support commercial objectives.
  • Proactively research, recommend, and drive innovative marketing strategies, media partnerships and corporate events to build strong brand awareness, internally as well as externally
  • Assist in defining key messages aligned with the overall Corporate brand objectives to ensure consistent brand development and engagement across channels.

Marketing Operations:

Responsible for delivering operational sales and marketing support requirements across ATL and BTL channels for brand / tactical campaigns for the following key Business Units:

  • Venue Services Management , inclusive of Hospitality Services & Live Events
  • Real Estate Portfolio , inclusive of all developments and the Free Zone Authority
  • Corporate Operations inclusive of marketing support for internal teams like Human Resources, Information Technology and similar
  • Lead quality and timely implementation of all BU requirements – from brief to delivery, including design, artwork, and supervision of print production, photography and coordination with creative agencies/vendors. Ensure all marketing collateral is professionally produced is of the highest quality and reflects the corporate brand.
  • Develop job briefs based on discussion with BUs and finalise these with line Manager to define marketing requirements to in-house design team or external agencies.
  • Ensure stringent review of content for accuracy, quality and messaging consistency.
  • Work closely with internal marketing teams (including Digital, PR and Research) to ensure consistency of messages across channels.

Strategic Projects

  • Presentations and Bid documents
  • Campaign concepts and delivery for all Live Events
  • Supervise and/or conduct Photography
  • New ideas to support our clients Corporate participation in Exhibitions, events or Trade Shows (eg CareersUAE)
  • Research and assist with new Corporate Gifts ideas in line with BU requirements and budgets
  • Any other special projects assigned

Marketing Administration & Control:

  • Responsible for Document control and detailed delivery tracking of all Marketing Communications projects.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all department policies, SLAs and designated approval process, in keeping with Audit requirements.
  • Deliver a Tracking log of requests in the designated format on a monthly basis.
  • Manage all annual Event Photography, from identification of events to delivery and archiving in designated folders
  • Ensure detailed filing and written documentation of all creative material including Artworks, Images, CDs and monthly logs

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related disciplines
  • 2-5 years’ experience within Marketing communications and/or Brand management in a large Corporate /Internal company. Agency experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, Arabic would be a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory. Skills in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. PhotoShop, Illustrator, In Design etc.) would be an advantage.
  • Strong Project Management and Time Management capabilities, with very high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure situations.
  • Experience in Print/Production and media
  • Ability to build rapport and forge relations across departments and hierarchy – a good ‘people’ person
