At McGraw Hill we recruit Marketers that want to deliver work that matters, helping build the future for higher education students. Based from our Dubai office (hybrid working), owning our marketing innovation across MEA, and reporting into our Higher Education Commercial Director, we are seeking a new Marketing Manager.

We are looking for someone who can bring their unwavering dedication in creating and executing marketing plans for specific portfolios across the Middle East and Africa Higher Education sector. Our new Marketing Manager will contribute towards our on-going revenue success, increase our educational technology activations and usage, and expand customer engagement.

How can you make an impact?

The key to success in this role is a customer-focused mindset. Your successful marketing plans will include specific strategies and tactical activities aimed at –

  • Building awareness of our digital solutions (namely Connect and Aleks), at conferences.
  • Portfolio specific events and webinars.
  • Creating portfolio specific content that will engage customers throughout their journey.
  • Developing effective customer-facing, and internal, sales enablement tools.

What you will be doing?

  • Collaborating with demand generation and digital marketing teams to ensure alignment on portfolio and product goals.
  • Partnering with the sales team to strategize on top opportunities – creating value that will help advance and win new business, as well as grow deeper usage with existing customers.
  • Engaging with Higher Education instructors and decision makers to better understand customer needs, and to support a team-sell approach.
  • Developing a deep customer understanding and insight through market research, customer interactions, and liaison with sales and product teams that will guide future marketing priorities.
  • Nurturing positive customer experiences to develop McGraw Hill digital advocates. Growing our customer advocates so they share their digital success stories.
  • Conducting regular competitive pricing analysis for assigned portfolios/products.

You should apply if you have:

  • Solid and proven experience in a similar Marketing Manager role.
  • Worked in the education sector previously. This would be highly desirable.
  • A customer-centric mentality – understanding the customer lifecycle and how marketing can impact each step through the journey.
  • A results-orientated mindset.
  • A Bachelor’s degree.
