Finance Officer – UAE National

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of the organization. This entry-level position is suitable for recent graduates or individuals with limited work experience in finance. The Finance Officer will work closely with senior finance personnel to ensure accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with regulations, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Financial Record-Keeping:

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Record financial transactions in the accounting system.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.

Assist in the preparation of customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable.

Follow up on outstanding payments.

Budget Support:

Assist in the preparation of budgets under the guidance of senior finance staff.

Monitor budget performance and report any variances.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Financial Analysis:

Support financial analysis activities, including trend analysis and forecasting.

Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for management decision-making.

Audit Assistance:

Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.

Provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes.

Documentation and Filing:

Maintain organized and comprehensive financial records.

Ensure proper filing of financial documents for easy retrieval.

Communication:

Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience – fresh graduates / 1-2 years experience in fiance sector
