We are seeking a passionate and strategic Team Lead – Business Development to join us at Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who is enthusiastic about coaching, mentoring, and fostering a psychologically safe environment within their team while also providing strategic insights and leadership.

As a Team Lead of a team of ~10 passionate BDM’s, you will lead and mentor the team and therefore play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business. Your focus will be on strategic planning, team management, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation.

Tasks + Challenges

In this role, you will…

  • lead and mentor our Business Development Team with your strategic expertise.
  • oversee and contribute to product development and sales strategies for the Digital Solutions Product Portfolio.
  • represent and contribute to business and strategy alignment with E+H Product Centers and Sales Centers.
  • contribute towards competence within market needs, customer feedback, and industry trends, defining what products should be built and guiding the high-level direction.
  • contribute towards sales and pricing strategies by industry together with Sales Centers and Product Owners to optimize market penetration.
  • continuously assess and enhance the performance of Business Development activities to maximize engagement.
  • collaborate on group-wide projects and development.
  • cultivate and expand key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications + Profile

  • You have a technical background, ideally with an MBA/MSc, and a proven track record in Sales and Business Development within one of the 7 core industries served by Endress+Hauser. This enables you to understand and address technical challenges within the context of customer needs and industry standards.
  • You have leadership experience, focusing on coaching and mentoring, fostering a psychologically safe environment within your team.
  • You possess an analytical, goal-oriented mindset, and interconnected thinking that drives success.
  • You are skilled at collaborating across functions in a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Your strong communication skills, effective negotiation, and assertiveness set you apart.
  • You like being ‘hands-on’, with a primary focus on strategic planning and team management.
  • You have proficiency in both spoken and written German and English.
