Your Impact

• You will take charge of and oversee projects aimed at assessing the current state of Global Business Services (GBS) and identifying opportunities for enhancement. Subsequently, you will spearhead the implementation of these improvements.
• You will be responsible for leading and delivering client engagements. This will involve close collaboration with senior functional executives and their teams, as well as internal cross-functional teams, to identify areas for improvement in existing policies, processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
• Your role will encompass the development of GBS strategies, roadmaps, optimal target operating models, and the execution of centralization, transformation, and change initiatives to meet the evolving needs of clients in end-to-end process areas. Your focus will be on enhancing insights, efficiency, effectiveness, and control.

You will proactively identify initiatives to assist clients in the transformation and enhancement of their GBS organizations, including shared services and outsourcing, across various operational domains.

• You will design and implement comprehensive end-to-end GBS solutions, ranging from Target Operating Model design to large-scale business transformations, catering to global clients.
• You will lead in the creation of compelling proposals, providing advisory services to clients on strategies related to Global Business Services and Outsourcing execution.
• Building strong relationships with key senior GBS leaders and management executives will be crucial in order to offer a range of GBS and other competency offerings to the client.

Your Skill Set

• You possess 14+ years of professional experience within the GBS/Outsourcing industry.
• You have a solid track record of 7-10 years of relevant experience, backed by a consulting background, showcasing your skills in pipeline development, project management, and effective leadership of both clients and teams.
• You showcase experience in GBS setup and transformations with a proven track record of project delivery.
• You have experience in one or more shared services functions, with a preference for expertise in areas like Procurement, Supply Chain, FP&A, HR, and IT services. Detailed knowledge of R2R, O2C, S2P processes is advantageous.
• You demonstrate the ability to adapt and willingness to take initiatives and ownership of tasks and problems.
• You possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workloads while being resilient and able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• You have advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, and you also possess Lean/Six-Sigma or equivalent certifications, which will be advantageous.
• You are fluent in English and German.
• You are willing and able to travel within Europe and, in some cases, globally.
