The Internal Communications Manager will help develop and grow a global organizational culture and internal communication ecosystem where leaders and employees are engaged with each other in a way that informs, involves, and inspires; builds trust, belonging and community; advances organizational goals and supports major change, and helps us fulfill our vision and work around the world with passion and purpose.
This individual will be responsible for developing and delivering integrated communication plans and campaigns for internal audiences that drive awareness, understanding and action toward company goals and objectives, promote employee engagement, and build a culture of trust, inclusion and transparency.
This individual should be able to work independently, and in a team, take initiative and effectively interact with all levels of our global organization. The ideal candidate should be an excellent writer and editor, someone who will ask great questions and think creatively about best approaches, and has experience creating data-informed campaigns and audience-focused content and creative materials.
The role can be based in either Atlanta, GA or Washington, D.C. and will report to the Director of Internal and Leadership Communications.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Organizational Communication, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- At least 7 years of strategic communications experience, with demonstrated success in communication planning and content development
- Must be an excellent writer, editor, and storyteller who can synthesize and distill complex information into informative and engaging content for staff
- Experience working in partnership with creative and design teams to develop and advise on graphics, videos, photography, and visual content to amplify messages and increase engagement
- Strong executive presence that inspires trust and confidence
- Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of global issues, current events, and business trends
- Sound judgment and ability to balance short- and long-term priorities in a disciplined manner
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and calmly adapts to change when needed
- Experience effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders and partners to maximize impact
