General Description of the Organization:

Ghiras Al-Nahda is a Non-profit Non-governmental humanitarian organization working to empower people through fulfilling their basic needs and seeking to improve community stability and resilience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Preparing monthly financial reports
– Assist in managing cash flows
– Responsible for printing and archiving financial documents.
– Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and cash every month.
– Review and submit all financial reports and ensure that comprehensive and timely reports
– Participate in monthly closure activities, preparing accruals and the amortization for the prepaid expenses, and make sure proper coding to cost centers,
– Ensure compliance with all donor requirements per signed contracts when reviewing expenses.
– Assist in Preparing annual and quarterly master budgets for all programs
– Participate in Developing and improving internal finance procedures
– Supervise field finance team and Head Office by checking cash receipts, vouchers, employee – advances liquidations, and disbursement
– Follow-up financial documentation of all disbursements and projects related to the implementation
– Recording all accounting operations in their accounts on the al-Ameen program
– Maintain the Organization’s bank accounts

Required Qualifications:

• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Experience using financial software
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data 4Computer skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management ability.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility/Adaptability.
• Priority for Turkish citizenship holders.
