Job Title: Reconciliation Accountant.

Reporting to: Accounting Manager.

Work Location: Iraq – Baghdad.

Mission: Responsible for the preparation of monthly reconciliations of Al-Resoom bank accounts, credit cards, customers and suppliers accounts, and petty cash.

Responsibilities:

·        Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.

·        Prepare monthly credit cards reconciliation.

·        Prepare reconciliations with wholesale customers on a monthly basis.

·        Prepare vendors, including, foreign and local vendors, and customs clearance on a monthly basis.

·        Prepare cash in and cash out transfers reconciliations on a monthly basis.

·        Provide the Head of Section- Cash & Inventory management with complete and updated information and data about cash management and financing.

·        Suggest ways to reduce finance costs and bank charges and fees, and increase interest revenues, through the efficient use of any cash surplus.

·        Prepare reconciliation and replenishment of petty cash in coordination with the expenses and AP accountant, and monitoring petty cash funds.

Qualifications:

Scientific Qualifications: BA or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.

Experience: Min 3 years

Competencies:-

Technical:-

• verbal and written communication.
• Excellent knowledge working with Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• Must be flexible in order to meet daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles.
• IFRS knowledge.
• Financial accounting and cash management practices
