Your responsibilities:
- coordination for the preparation and implementation of humanitarian and development programs/projects (Eastern Europe, Africa, Central and South America, Central and East Asia regions);
- management of an expert team;
- monitoring of incomes and expenses for ongoing programs and projects in cooperation with the accounting department;
- development of an action plan from an operational and financial perspective together with implementation partners and donors;
- collaborating with external partners, in particular, Caritas Internationalis and Caritas Europa;
- making business trips related to current or planned project activities – monitoring trips to countries of program/project implementation;
- representing Caritas Poland externally.
Our requirements:
- experience in coordinating international projects, including humanitarian/development/social projects;
- knowledge and understanding of the principles of accounting for projects co-/funded by external donors;
- experience in managing a team, including a distributed team;
- fluency in Polish (C1 level minimum);
- fluency in English (C1 level minimum);
- advanced project management skills;
- communication skills and openness to working with others;
- willingness to travel outside Poland.
