A day in the life…
Identify, review and communicate to Compliance team and the business applicable regulatory guidance, including proposed and final rules and regulations and other regulatory guidance as appropriate
Review various trainings and customer facing communications, including but not limited to card product and rewards program marketing materials and consumer communications
Identify and evaluate compliance and operational risk areas within Nordstrom’s credit card program
Identify opportunities to enhance compliance knowledge in first line business areas; develop and/or facilitate training sessions
Develop and deliver comprehensive reporting of compliance findings to internal Nordstrom business partners and Nordstrom compliance team members
Review and advise as to consumer compliance requirements for, and implications of, assigned projects and campaigns
Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned topics to provide compliance support to the business
Assist with the implementation of training and compliance management program
You own this if you have…
Minimum of 3 years of banking and/or retail compliance or business experience
BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or mathematics related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
In-depth knowledge of consumer and/or banking compliance laws and regulations
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to apply technical, business and problem-solving skills to provide review and consulting services
Ability to multi-task and keep multiple projects and issues on track simultaneously
Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and First Data software applications a plus, e.g., SAS Enterprise Guide, Business Objects, Tableau

Colorado: $62,100 – $95,700, Nevada: $59,500 – $95,000
