SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. As a non-governmental social development organisation, we support children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for the rights of children and young people, in alliance with a great diversity of partners. We work in 135 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year. To support us with this important responsibility the International Office CEE/CIS/ME is looking for a committed and experienced:

Member Support Coordinator (f/m)

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan

Duration: One year term, full time.

Purpose of the position:

Support Line Management (Deputy IDR and Management Support Advisor) in maintaining up-to-date processes and reference materials for the Line Management work area.

Support Line Management (SOS CVI Representatives) in their work with Member Associations by coordination of certain processes and information flow with up to 4 Member Associations**.**

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support Line Management (Deputy International Director Region and Management Support Advisor) in their work including:
  • Maintain and share up-to-date documentation regarding line management work areas;
  • Prepare presentations and make arrangements for events hosted by Line Management;
  • Other administrative support duties as requested by Deputy International Director Region and Management Support Advisor.
  • Support CVI representatives in their work with up to 4 Member Associations including:
  • Support Member Association’s strategy development process and annual planning cycle;
  • Ensure the link between the Member Association’s planning and budgeting process;
  • Preparing management reports and overview on key performance indicators and statistics;
  • Ensure effective flow of information between stakeholders;
  • Coordinating and documenting meetings and planned work activities.

Requirements:

  • University degree in International relations, Business Administration, or relevant field;
  • 3 to 5 years work experience within an international organisation;
  • Well-organised, analytical;
  • Strong interpersonal awareness, excellent communications skills in international setting;
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Team player, able to work proactively and to build a strong personal network;
  • Desirable experience in monitoring and evaluation;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
