Aufgaben

• Revenue recognition
• Account assignment and posting of current business transactions (incoming / outgoing invoices, banks, cash registers, credit cards)
• Account monitoring and processing of open item lists Debtors / Vendors
• Payment transactions, creating payment runs
• Creation of the monthly VAT report
• You create and manage reminders
• Support for special projects and ad-hoc analysis
• Support of the monthly and quarterly financial statements as well as the annual financial statements in cooperation with the tax consultant
• Support in all general accounting matters for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Maintenance and further development of cost center accounting
• IC reconciliation
• Close cooperation with other departments and the finance department of the parent company

Qualifikation

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with a current job level of as financial accountant
• Professional experience in the described area of responsibility desirable; ideally with good knowledge in corporate controlling
• Knowledge of GoB, accounting (HGB), as well as tax law and experience in the area of preparing consolidated financial statements
• Microsoft Dynamix experience , especially Excel and MS Office desirable
• Native German speaker and fluent in English
• High degree of teamwork, flexibility and initiative
• Nice to have: Completed economic studies with a focus on finance or a apprenticeship in accounting with further trainings as an accountant
• Nice to have: knowledge in Group consolidation, ideally also at US GAPP / IFRS level
• Responsible, independent, meticulous and timely manner of working with pronounced numerical affinity
