The candidate will draft transaction documents, including trust agreements, loan agreements, lease financing documents, and closing certificates. Will assist with the review of due diligence materials. Draft bond purchase contracts and remarketing agreements, securities disclosure offering documents, including limited offering memoranda and official statements. Local governmental law experience in Virginia and/or North Carolina is preferred. Active Virginia Bar license required. Areas of specialization include transactional and litigation law. Law offices are based in Virginia and North Carolina. The law practice was formed in the mid 1800’s. Seventy-five knowledgeable attorneys and a professional support group are on staff.
